How to Prepare for Surgery
To help ensure a safe and smooth surgical experience, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not eat or drink after midnight the night before surgery
- Arrange for someone to drive you home
- Complete all required lab work and imaging as instructed
- Have your History and Physical completed prior to surgery
- Wear comfortable clothing and leave valuables at home
- Follow medication instructions provided by your care team
- Arrive 1–2 hours before your scheduled surgery time and check in as directed
