Our Promise to You
Do you have any comments regarding the care you are receiving? Your feedback is an extremely important part of making this hospital YOUR hospital.
At Rochelle Community Hospital, we strive daily to provide our patients with the best healthcare possible. If you have comments about the level of care you have received at Rochelle Community Hospital, please call Quality Management at 815-562-2181, ext. 2480. Or contact us at quality@rcha.net.
Our patients have an opportunity to rate our performance by participating in our survey process provided by Press Ganey, a healthcare surveying company. Patients will be contacted by Press Ganey to fill out a survey. Results are compiled by Press Ganey and provided to the hospital.
Whether you come to the hospital on a regular basis to receive care or come once in a while, we want to hear from you.
Results of our patient satisfaction surveys are featured on Hospital Compare. Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) measures a hospital’s ability to follow specified best practices related to clinical patient care. We strive to make our patients’ experiences as positive as possible and provide the highest standard of patient care and goals with every admission, through hospitalization, to discharge and beyond.
Rochelle Community Hospital is proud of its dedication to continuous quality improvement. As part of that process, RCH contracts with The Joint Commission (TJC) to evaluate the quality and safety of care by assessing the compliance of the organization with their national safety standards. Surveys are conducted randomly within the third year of the accreditation cycle. Some key components of the survey process include:
• Patient Safety
• Medication Management
• Assessment and Care/Services
During the survey, trained surveyors evaluate patient care by using the “tracer methodology.” All aspects of patient care are looked at by tracing patients through the care, treatment, and services they received. The survey process also analyzes key operational systems that directly impact the quality and safety of patient care. The goal of the survey process is to evaluate the hospital’s performance with maintaining continuous compliance with all of the standards.
