6th Annual "Hospital Hustle" 5K

Walk/Run Set for June 2

"Do the Hustle"! The Rochelle Community Hospital Foundation is finalizing plans for the sixth annual "Hospital Hustle" 5K Walk/Run. The fun family event is set for Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. at Atwood Park located at the corner of 10th Avenue and 20th Street. The walk/run is 3.1 miles in length and will start at the beginning of the bike path, follows the path to the RTHS tennis courts and back.

Awards will be presented to various age divisions ranging from youth to 70 and over for both male and female. No pets or strollers on the course please. Entry fees are as follows: $20 for pre-entry on or before Friday, June 1, $25 the day of the race of $10 for ages 18 or younger.

The event encourages team participation. Placement is determined by the average scores of the first three members of the team that cross the finish line.

Proceeds from this annual event will go towards a new state-of-the-art Toshiba 160 slice CT Scanner for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
